Mini sessions.

What to Expect

  • A fun, fast-paced session lasting 15–30 minutes.
  • I’ll guide you gently through relaxed prompts and natural poses.
  • These are short and sweet - just enough time to capture connection, cuddles, and those in-between moments.
  • Because time is limited, these sessions move quickly- perfect for young kids (and busy parents!).

How to Prepare

  • Arrive on time (or a few minutes early)—with short time slots, we can’t extend if you’re late.
  • Make sure kids are fed and rested beforehand (a snack in the car can work wonders).
  • Don’t stress if your little one doesn’t warm up right away—I’ll work gently and quickly to capture sweet moments.
  • Keep expectations simple—this is about capturing connection, not perfection.

What to Wear

  • Neutrals, soft colours, or seasonal tones (depending on the theme) photograph beautifully.
  • Coordinate as a family, but avoid matching exactly.
  • Skip bold patterns, logos, or neons—they can be distracting in short sessions.
  • Dress comfortably and simply—what you feel good in always shines through.

What to Bring

  • Nothing is required unless specified, but you’re welcome to bring:
  • A favourite comfort item or toy (if it helps!)
  • Wipes and a backup outfit for little ones, just in case
  • Any special add-ons listed for your mini session theme (e.g. letters to Santa, etc.)

What’s Included

  • [Insert number] images delivered in a private online gallery within [insert timeframe]
  • Option to upgrade your gallery or order prints/products after delivery

Important Notes

  • Mini sessions are non-refundable and non-reschedulable unless due to weather or emergency (please check your confirmation email for the details).
  • If your little one needs a little time to warm up—that’s okay! You’d be amazed what we can capture in just a few minutes.

A Quick Note on Themed Sessions…

If your mini session has a seasonal or styled theme (like Christmas, Mother’s Day, or something more playful), dressing to complement the setup can really bring the images to life.

You definitely don’t have to go all out—but a thoughtful nod to the theme can make your gallery feel more polished and cohesive.

A few easy ways to dress to theme:

  • Soft greens, neutrals, or burgundy for a Christmas setup
  • Light linen, florals, or pastels for spring or Mother’s Day
  • Warm earthy tones for autumn or nature sessions

Even something as simple as a textured knit or a sweet accessory (a bow, a hat, a scarf) can tie everything together beautifully.

If you’re ever unsure what works best, feel free to send me a photo of your outfit options—I’m always happy to help you choose something that photographs beautifully and still feels like you.

CAKE SMASH

  • A small cake—naked or lightly frosted works best (less icing = less slip!).

III. Deliver memories.

What to Expect

  • We’ll start with a few clean portraits before the cake comes out.
  • Then, it’s all about letting your little one explore, taste, squish, and smash at their own pace.
  • Some babies go all in, some need a little encouragement—and both are perfect.
